Guidelines for falls prevention

Specific chapters of the Australian Falls Prevention Guidelines are under review from musculoskeletal researchers at the Institute to incorporate the latest evidence and practice.

The guidelines are designed to inform clinical practice and assist hospitals and residential aged care facilities develop and implement practices to reduce falls and the harm sustained in falls. The updated guidelines and support materials are available from the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care Falls Guidelines.
