Dr Bette Liu is a medically-trained epidemiologist who specialises in the design and analysis of large-scale prospective studies and record linkage studies. She has a doctorate in epidemiology from the University of Oxford and a Masters of Public Health from the University of Sydney.
She currently holds a NHMRC Post-doctoral fellowship and works as Senior Lecturer at the University of New South Wales where she manages a program of research focusing on risk factors for, and sequelae of common and emerging infectious diseases. Her research interests span across many specialty areas and include collaborations with the George Institute Critical Care and Trauma Division.
